Rainer has worked on 356’s since the late 70’s, starting Meister Restorations in 1990 and doing service and restorations of 356’s until 2006, when he started The Spyder Factory to service and restore 550 Spyders along with manufacturing and selling parts for these cars. He also makes complete exact replicas of the 550; some of the current work can be seen on his website Thespyderfactory.com
